NATIONAL SPRINT CAR HALL OF FAME
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR RESULTS
The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame released the results of the final voting for the 2007
National Rookie of the Year. Although Kyle Larson was only the third driver, behind Sean
Becker and Kevin Swindell, ever nominated for the 410 and 360 awards in the same season,
Chris Andrews and Josh Fisher were announced as the winners in each respective division.
Andrews, who was a regular at Fremont Speedway in Hartford, Ohio, won a close vote over
Kyle in the 410 division. Fisher, a regular with the Winged Outlaw Warriors series based
in Missouri, garnered the 360 award by a wide margin over Kyle and Scott Kreutter.
Larson said, I was very surprised to even be considered for these awards. To be
picked as a nominee in both the 410 and 360 divisions makes me feel grateful to be
recognized for what I have accomplished this year. I want to offer my congratulations to
Chris Andrews and Josh Fisher. I am sure they are both deserving of these awards."
